Reclaiming Urban Waterways for Liveable Cities

Time: May 4, 2023, 12:10-15:30

Place:

Waterways are maintenance-free, uncrowded, and immediately available in 90 % of all the city centres. Norway has world-leading technology, know-how and infrastructure for delivering smart and sustainable ferries to urban waterways. In addition, smart and low-emission water shuttles are critical for green mobility systems in sustainable cities.

We must take a holistic approach to mobility to reach our joint Mission of climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030. Nordic EV Summit has, from the beginning, shared the vision of a sustainable mobility ecosystem, and the waterways are an integral part of that. Let this shift happen at an even larger scale with a more significant impact and the greenest possible future.
