To build fast charging ultra-fast – the ketchup effect?

Time: May 4, 2023, 13:30-14:15

Place:

With the new EU 2035 target, where all new cars are zero emission electric vehicles, we need to ramp up planning, production, and development of charging infrastructure.

What are the political and economic carriers and barriers for industry to move fast enough? Do we have enough hardware production capacity, suitable locations and grid capacity to provide enough charging stations for consumers to trust buying a new electric car without range anxiety? What are the ambitions of European charging industry and what can we learn from the Norwegian early mass market?

Speakers:

  • Andreas Müller, Global Head of Public Charging Offering, ABB E-mobility
  • Caro De Brouwer, Director Network Development, Fastned
  • Milos Bartosek, Director, PwC

Panelists:

  • Alexander Verduyn, European Commission, DG MOVE
  • Aurelie Balcon, VP Strategy, BP Pulse
  • Malene Brøvig, Director of Public Charging, Mer Norway
