Time: April 9, 2025, 11:30-12:15
Place: Main stage
Outsiders might think everyone in Norway always have been in perfect agreement regarding electric cars. That all politicians have been EV supporters and everyone living in this country are greener than the rest of the world. That is not the case, there has been heavy debates and a lot of resistance here too!
The Norwegian success is indeed due to strong political measures and a fast technological development, but as time has passed people’s views and attitudes has changed as well. How and why is something we will discuss in this panel together with a former Minister of Finance, a race car driver and Formula 1 reporter, as well as the leader of the Norwegian Redneck Association, a man who truly loves big gas guzzlers and definitely is not a big fan of EVs.
