Marius Råstad (NO)
Marius Råstad is Corporate Logistics Manager for outbound transport at ASKO Norge, Norway’s largest wholesale distributor of groceries. He plays a key role in the company’s ambitious goal of achieving a zero-emission transport fleet by 2026. This involves transitioning to electric trucks and other sustainable transport solutions. Råstad has been a driving force behind the implementation of electric trucks in ASKO’s distribution network. He has worked closely with OEMs to develop and adapt electric vehicles to meet the company’s needs. This has resulted in the gradual expansion of ASKO’s electric fleet, with plans to significantly increase the number of electric trucks in the coming years. In addition to his work with transport electrification, Råstad has participated in various conferences and events to share his experiences and promote sustainable transport solutions.
ASKO has long been a pioneer in zero-emission transport in Norway. The company aims to achieve fossil-free transport by the end of 2026 and has already implemented several measures to reach this goal. In 2016, ASKO introduced Norway’s first electric truck, marking the beginning of their efforts toward transport electrification. Since then, the company has significantly expanded its fleet of electric vehicles.
