Ingelin Noresjø (NO)
Norway has set ambitious climate goals for the transport sector, which collectively accounts for around 10 percent of Norway’s climate emissions. Ingelin Noresjø leads Green Transport Norway, a public-private partnership involving the entire transport value chain to reduce emissions. She has a political background and over 25 years of experience in local, regional, and national politics. Noresjø has been the deputy leader of the Christian Democratic Party (KrF) and worked as a state secretary in the Ministry of Transport under the Solberg government. She has a keen eye for what the business sector needs, the barriers that arise, and the measures politicians must implement to ensure land transport continues to reduce emissions. At the same time, she is clear that the transport industry must take its share of the responsibility.
