Previously, Haugli was the CEO of Abelia, the business association of Norwegian knowledge and technology-based enterprises; a part of the Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry, NHO. Before that he was a Member of Parliament, representing the Labor party. Prior to Parliament, Haugli was Director of settlements and customer service at Gjensidige Insurance. He has also been Director of HR and Organization and Sales Director at Gjensidige Pension and Savings and has experience from the consulting firms McKinsey & Co and ISCO Group.
Haugli is a member of The Norwegian Parliamentary Intelligence Oversight Committee (EOS Committee) and has been a Board Member of the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen), a member of SINTEF’s Council, the Council of the Norwegian Patent Office and the Health Care 21 Council.
