Florian Nägele (DE)

With more than 15 years of experience in a highly dynamic market, Florian Nägele is a proven expert of the sustainable mobility and E-mobility infrastructure industry. Currently, he is Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Leadership Team at ABB E-mobility.

Before, Florian has worked at McKinsey & Company for more than 13 years where he succcesfully founded and led the firm’s global E-Mobility Infrastructure Practice. Advising clients of the automotive and energy sector from all over the world, he helped setting-up several CPO and charging businesses. In operating roles he built powertrain and energy technology ventures and executed large-scale strategic projects of leading OEMs, transforming sales, operations, and R&D.

With his long experience and profound knowledge of the automotive and e-mobility ecosystem, as Chief Commercial Officer at ABB E-mobility, Florian is leading both the European region and channel business outside North America.

Florian holds an engineering degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in business administration and a PhD from ETH Zurich. As graduate and potgraduate researcher he worked at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
