Burkhard Straube (DE)

Burkhard Straube has served as the CEO of Vianode, a Norwegian producer of advanced battery materials with a greener footprint, since October 2023. Before joining Vianode, Straube was the President of the Graphite Solutions Business Unit at SGL Carbon, a position he held since 2015.

Straube brings deep battery competence with a global perspective on strategy, commercialisation and has experience in building businesses for future markets. Straube’s international leadership journey spans over three decades, including leadership positions at SGL Carbon, BASF and DyStar.

Straube is a German national and holds degrees from Middlesex University and ESB Reutlingen
