Bård Bergfald (NO)

Bård Bergfald is an environmentalist and an industrialist. He was one of the pioneers in the EV sector in Norway, as a part of the Bellona team promoting EVs from 1990 and onwards. He lived furthest from the Bellona office, so he had the task of driving through the toll gate without paying every day. Since his Bellona years, Bård has built a team with 12 chemists and engineers, consulting on CRM and EIA issues for mining, metals and chemical industries as well as EPAs. In 2008, he founded REEtec together with the Scatec group, producing rare earths for the German EV sector. He still works part time as a consultant but has also taken on board appointments in mining companies in Norway and Sweden.
