Aoife O’Grady (IRL)

Aoife O’Grady is Head of Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland, a dedicated office within the Department of Transport with responsibility for all aspects of EVs in Ireland, supporting the uptake of vehicles through grants, incentives and the roll‑out of EV charging infrastructure, developing policy and regulation in the area of EVs, and working with stakeholders across both public and private sectors to deliver on Ireland’s ambitious electrification targets.

Aoife has worked in the field of transport for over 20 years for both the Irish and UK Governments, with a focus on strategy and sustainability. By training a social scientist, Aoife has a BA from Trinity College Dublin and an MA and PhD from the University of Warwick.
