With the commitment to the Paris Agreement de-carbonization of the truck sector requires up to 50% electric vehicles in 2030. 

The presentation firstly covers a strategy layout why Traton focusses on BEV first and foresees Hydrogen as complimentary technology. 

Secondly we will talk about what the electrification of a global truck portfolio sets a requirements on modularity and flexibility when it comes to technical designs and thirdly covers boundary conditions for charging infrastructure to make this transformation successful.

Panel discussion will follow up on the emerging role of EV charging in the wider energy ecosystem in combination with energy storage, distributed energy production and aggregation in the evolving energy flexibility markets.
