Welcome to the conference opening!
Where is Norway at and how will 2025 proceed? As always, Christina Bu, the Secretary General of the Norwegian EV Association will start the show by giving you the most up-to-date insights to Norway’s EV progress.
We are honored to have the Minister of Climate and Environment, Andreas Bjelland Eriksen, opening the Nordic EV Summit this year. As the person responsible for Norway’s EV policies, he will share insights on the current status and future direction of Norway’s ambitious EV initiatives.
What progress are we making on global energy transitions, and how are different clean energy technologies progressing? This is a question Dr. Timur Gül, Chief Energy Technology Officer in the International Energy Agency (IEA) will adress in his keynote.
Former Norwegian Finance minister and Director of Norway’s leading center for climate research, Kristin Halvorsen, will follow up by reminding us about what the EV transition is really all about: tackling an ever-growing climate crisis.
