How heavy and hasty is the electrification of all transportation?
The electrification of transportation is about more than passenger cars. We need to reduce emissions from public transport, freight and transportation of goods. Furthermore, it does not stop on land, we need to electrify our seas as well. Are these processes going quick enough?
Many will say that we cannot work at the same pace when we electrify these segments as we have with passenger cars. We also have to make sure that we have the charging infrastructure in place for these segments of transportation. Interesting and exciting keynote speakers will address these situations in this session.
We will hear about how the city of Oslo are meeting these challenges head on, from Heidi Sørensen, Director of the Climate Agency, City of Oslo. Bjørn Utgård, CEO of Hyke will tell us about how their boats are taking passenger transportation by storm in larger European cities.
