We kick off this session with Anthony Eggert from ClimateWorks Foundation sharing how and why a global philanthropic foundation is engaged in electric mobility.

Sigrid de Vries, the Director General of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) will talk about the difficulties and opportunities facing the European car industry and the challenges concerning the sourcing of battery components and raw materials. Before Erik Severinson, Head of Strategy & New Cars at Volvo Cars enters the stage.

Sigrid de Vries and Erik Severinson will then be joined by Julia Poliscanova from Transport & Environment, in a panel discussing the future of the vehicle manufacturing industry in Europe, with a particular focus on the intense competition between Europe, Asia, and America.
