Conference opening – Reaching the global EV tipping-point

Welcome to the conference opening!

Is Norway on track to reach the goal of only selling new electric cars in 2025? Christina Bu, the Secretary General of the Norwegian EV Association will start the show by giving you the most up-to-date insights to Norway’s EV progress.

Sally Kamara, Journalist, author, and activist – mostly known for her role as news anchor on the Norwegian children and youth TV channel NRK Super – will raise the importance of disability equity in the way we create and form our society. After Sally Kamara hear from Torgeir Waterhouse who will challenge the vehicle industry on how to do better on privacy and data-security, especially towards its customers.

Sigrid de Vries, the Director General of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) will talk about the difficulties and opportunities facing the European car industry and the challenges concerning the sourcing of battery components and raw materials.

Finally, Guillaume Pelletreau, Vice President of Electrification and Connected Services at Nissan AMIEO will tell us how they are working towards reaching the global EV tipping-point.
