Siv Heimdal is the digital communications manager at the Norwegian Agricultural Cooperatives and will host the session Electrifying agriculture.

Heimdal thinks Norwegian agriculture is in a unique position to be leading the electricity revolution in farming. Most Norwegian farmers are digital first movers, they invest in precision machines and half of all Norwegian milk comes from an automated milk robot system. Norwegian farmers are always looking for new technology to help them produce more sustainable food and get most of the resources the farm provide. Electric vehicles and solar panels could help farmers reduce carbon emissions and become green energy self-sufficient.
