To fuel the end of the oil age and a renewable future with electric mobility, there is a great need for steady supply of sustainable raw materials and batteries.
There have been significant investments in the battery value chain in Europe the last few years, but trying to catch up with China is difficult and many industrial newcomers have struggled. In this session industry leaders gather to discuss what the potential and challenges are in the new global dynamics, and whether Europe will ever be able to catch up with the battery leading regions of the world.
Hear Bryan Bille, Policy & Geopolitical Principal at Benchmark Minerals, share insights on the potential and challenges for a European battery supply chain. The Norwegian battery cell manufacturer Morrow will tell us how they plan to increase their market shares. Furthermore, we will hear from Mona Schanche from Kuniko, a company focused on the exploration and development of battery metal resources in Scandinavia.
