European challenges to faster EV uptake. A decade ago, electric vehicles were primarily seen as suitable for city driving. Now car manufacturers are launching EVs that exceeds our wildest dreams, and the competition has never been fiercer. At the same time, car regulations and EV policies have become central to the global political agenda, often overshadowing the focus on reducing climate emissions amid political maneuvering and international rivalry.
