Judith Kirton-Darling (UK) – IndustriALL Europe

Ms. Kirton-Darling is Deputy General Secretary of industriAll Europe, representing 7 million manufacturing-, mining- and energy workers from 38 European countries. She was formerly a Labour Member of the European Parliament for the North East of England (2014-20).  

Ms. Kirton-Darling will participate in a plenary discussion together with Senior Director, Vehicles and Emobility, Julia Poliscanova, T&E and Mr. Petr Dolejsi, Mobility & Sustainable Transport Director at The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), on how to reach for zero emissions in the transport sector in the EU? Ms. Kirton-Darling’s focus will be on how to ensure a Just Transition for workers alongside the rise of electric vehicles and how businesses across Europe should go from fossil to electric mobility creating good jobs.
