Erik Aasheim (NO)
Journalist, program host and author
Erik Aasheim has a vast experience as a journalist, program host and author. His journalist career stretches over 30 years. After seven years as journalist and sub-editor at the nation-wide newspaper Dagbladet, he started working at Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in 1997 as a program host and editor for several radio and TV shows.
In 2004 he received the Prix Radio-award in the category ”Best live broadcast”. He spent eight years working as a correspondent in Paris. Erik has for three years been working as Senior Communications Advisor for two different Ministers of Climate and Environment in Norway. His last mission in the ministry was to be present at the historic UN climate negotiations in Paris in December 2015. I 2016 he worked as director of communications for EAT Foundation, which aim is to reform the global food system and enable us to feed a growing global population with healthy food from a healthy planet.
Additionally, he is the author of published biographies of the leader of the Labour Party, Jonas Gahr Støre and the French-Norwegian politician and corruptions hunter, Eva Joly. Today Erik is CEO of the communication agency Primus Productions in Oslo.
