Terje Andersen is CEO of Morrow Batteries
Terje Andersen is the CEO and co-founder of Morrow Batteries. Founded in 2020, the company aims to develop and produce the world’s most cost-effective and sustainable batteries.
Andersen has extensive leadership experience from multiple international companies. Working as a consultant at EY over a number of years he evolved the firm’s Nordic branch with over a 1000 employees. Through different leadership positions, in national and international companies, Terje has obtained expertise in several industries. This forms a solid foundation as he now leads an ambitious company in an entirely new Norwegian industry.
Morrow Batteries employs a holistic approach to the battery value-chain and addresses several of the battery industry’s challenges through its technological solutions. At the end of 2021, the company will create an innovation centre and pilot factory in Agder, before starting construction on its giga factory in 2023. Morrow Batteries has already recruited top managers from the world’s leading battery companies, and with the industrial investors and partners on board, the establishment of Morrow and Norway’s “battery coast” is well under way.
Mr. Andersen will join the “Sustainable battery production in the Nordic region”-session
