Eirik Lae Solberg (NO)
Eirik Lae Solberg, Governing Mayor of Oslo
Solberg has served on the City Council since 2007 and led the Conservative Party Group for two terms. He was the Vice Mayor for Finance in Oslo from 2014 to 2015 and has held positions as a Political Adviser and State Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation, as well as State Secretary in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
In the private sector, Solberg was the Communications Director at Microsoft Norway and served as a Director at Deloitte Norway from 2020 to 2022.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master’s degree in European History and Politics from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, he earned a degree in History from the University of Oslo.
Born in 1971, Eirik Lae Solberg grew up in Drammen, Buskerud County, and now resides in Bislet, Oslo.
