Dan West (US)

Dan West is Director of Public Policy at Rivian, an independent US manufacturer of all-electric pickups, SUVs and delivery vans. Dan has led a range of government affairs work including federal and state lobbying, consumer, manufacturing and workforce incentives, and sustainability advocacy. Prior to Rivian, Dan worked on federal climate policy in various roles in Washington, DC, including in the United States Senate, NASA legislative affairs, and international environmental non-profits. Dan is originally from Missoula, Montana and now resides in Seattle, Washington. He has a B.A. in physics from Lewis and Clark College and an M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
