An-Magritt Ryste is director for next generation shipping in Kongsberg Maritime and for the last four years she has worked with maritime autonomy all the way from idea to realization, both through large research programs as well as commercial contracts.
Her background is within Naval Architecture from the Norwegian University for Natural Science (NTNU) and started her career in Kongsberg in 2009 as a Maritime Trainee. She has since worked with control system automation, department manager, as project manager of research projects and is now leading the strategic efforts towards remote and autonomous operations, where the goal is to enable safe and sustainable operations through technology.
